Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking with walkers or canes.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for residents and staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA Certification and active license.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
