Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Assist patients with toileting, incontinence care, and personal hygiene to ensure dignity and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress reports in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and assist with daily living activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and accidents.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Nevada State CNA License required.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living facility, or home health setting is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable transportation and a professional attitude.
