Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients maintain high standards of hygiene and comfort throughout their shift.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with RNs and LPNs to report changes in patient condition.
- Meal Assistance: Assist patients with feeding and ensure proper nutrition intake.
Qualifications
- Active Certification: Valid and current State CNA license (Required).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move patients and stand for extended periods.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a strong work ethic.
