Responsibilities
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Prepare and serve meals according to strict dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to update patient care plans and track progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment to prevent infection.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in California (State of CA CNA License).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
