Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and resident conditions
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Transport residents to activities and medical appointments
- Maintain clean, safe environments following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for resident wellness
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Michigan CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
