Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks and stand for long periods.
