Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for treatments and explain medical procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vital signs, EKGs, injections)
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical equipment
- Support administrative tasks including billing and insurance verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- CPR certification required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Compassionate attitude toward patients
- Willingness to obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months
