Job Summary
As a CNA on the weekend shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. Your daily efforts will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for our residents and patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and medical records.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies within established safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California State CNA License.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
