Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and resident conditions
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities
- Support nursing staff with medication administration under supervision
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work weekends and holidays (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate commitment to resident-centered care
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
