Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) immediately.
- Document patient care activities and daily logs in a timely and precise manner.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA Certification (CNA 1) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
