Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Status: Observe and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility as needed.
- Administer Care: Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current California State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Training: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
