Job Summary:
As a Weekend CNA, you will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. You will work closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating) with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Provide basic personal care and support to residents to maintain hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Communicate changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull residents and equipment as needed.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
