Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patient dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians to report changes in patient conditions.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Document all care activities in electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license (AZ) required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from a recognized provider.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
