Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patients' bathing, dressing, and hygiene routines
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Report patient changes to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Support emotional and social needs of patients
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
