Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
