Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with patient meals and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Transport patients safely within the facility
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
