Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and patient behavior
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer medications under proper supervision and documentation protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through patient engagement and companionship
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
