Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
- Prepare patients for meals and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Current California CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or assisted living experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for seniors
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
