Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Administer medications under supervision and assist with medical treatments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of professional CNA experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled patients
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Background check and TB clearance required
