Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate communication
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care or hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
