Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Support patients with emotional and social needs
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in long-term care or acute care
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
