Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations in medical records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support patients with emotional and social needs during daily care routines
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test results
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
