Responsibilities
- Provide personalized daily care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following OSHA standards
- Transport residents to medical appointments and activities
- Support emotional well-being through patient companionship
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
