Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control standards
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team for coordinated patient care
- Support emotional and social needs of patients and families
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience required
- BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electronic medical records (EMR) proficiency preferred
- Background check and drug screen clearance
