Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support patient independence through therapeutic activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with day/night/weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
