Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support nurses with medical procedures and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Communicate patient needs and changes to healthcare team
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
