Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and resident observations
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment
- Support nutritional needs through meal assistance and feeding when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free resident environment
- Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance resident well-being
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- Compassionate demeanor with strong patient advocacy skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Proficient in electronic documentation systems (EHR)
- Clear criminal background check and TB screening
