Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately record and monitor patient vital signs, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Medication Support: Assist with medication administration and ensure patients receive their prescribed treatments on time.
- Communication: Serve as a vital communication link between patients, families, and the nursing team.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Record Keeping: Document patient progress and any changes in condition immediately.
Qualifications
- License: Valid and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and patient advocacy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transfer patients, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
