Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs.
- Administer Medications: Follow strict protocols to ensure patients receive the correct medications at the right times.
- Document Care: Maintain detailed and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) of patient status and changes.
- Patient Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, answering questions and providing emotional support.
- Emergency Response: React swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License: Current and active state licensure in Colorado required.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be up-to-date.
- High School Diploma: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate Nature: Strong empathy and dedication to patient well-being.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent observation skills to detect changes in patient condition.
- Background Check: Completion of a satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
