Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and care documentation
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Support patients with daily living activities and maintain clean, safe environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or home health
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled populations
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Clean background check and negative TB test results
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
