Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain clean, organized patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through patient interaction and activity engagement
- Accurately document care activities and patient observations in medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with genuine compassion for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, and bending
