Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and meal intake
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Support patients with daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare teams to implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
