Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, helping to reduce anxiety and improve their quality of life.
- Document patient care activities, including intake and output, and changes in patient condition accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living facility, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Reliable transportation to and from work.
