Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all residents.
- Document care provided accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and basic nursing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hire.
- Compassionate, patient, and a team-oriented work ethic.
