Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Document patient care activities, including changes in patient condition, accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Ohio CNA license required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
