Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and clinical expertise in various medical settings.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly and competently to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Colorado or Ohio (or eligibility for compact state licensure).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
