Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist registered nurses with medical procedures and administer medications as directed by the care plan.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, strictly adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and assist with light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State CNA License (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
