Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to patients
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe ambulation
- Support nutritional needs and meal assistance
- Administer basic medications under supervision
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments per HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams for patient-centered plans
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in DC or Virginia
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with day/evening/weekend shifts
