Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and document all care appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and intervene promptly when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other specialized nursing procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
