Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication and document administration accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA certification (State License required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
