Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures and examinations to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide emotional support and answer inquiries.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations following established safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid state-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
