Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning patients to prevent bedsores and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
Qualifications
- Current, active Colorado CNA license or certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from a recognized provider.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
