Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and assessment in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, while strictly adhering to safety guidelines and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes or abnormalities to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Respond swiftly and professionally to medical emergencies and critical care situations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Travel nurses welcome).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on patient safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting patients as needed.
