Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and daily living activities as required.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment at all times.
- Support medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Escort patients to examinations and procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Florida.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment safely.
- Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to patient well-being.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
