Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Support residents with therapeutic programs and social activities
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent long-term care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
