Your Role as a CNA
In this role, you will be the heart of our patient care team, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Kansas State CNA License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
