As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in our patient care continuum, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of comfort and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with medication administration and basic wound care.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient conditions, and reactions to treatments in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California State CNA License.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
