Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed personnel.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents and patients.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or acute care settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a valid driver's license.
