Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper techniques.
- Communicate patient status changes to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer prescribed medications and document treatments accurately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Washington.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
