Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and personal assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
